I love your comment about healing a sickness you never knew you had. It’s just like that I think. A few good times were had just laying on our front lawn looking for satellites in the night sky. Our neighbors think we’re nuts some times. There’s just something about the night sky that is so peaceful and restoring.

remember how we would walk in the middle of the night on the road to the dump to see all the stars or northern lights. Precious moments in a big open field.

The sky – at sunrise or sunset and the moon or a sky full of stars – does it to me too. Some special connection is there between me and God at those times.

I to regret that I do not take more time to just look up.

Ahh my friend, I hear you, and strangely enough, I get what you are saying.

My own concerns when i moved out to this field i now live in, were along similar lines. I am wondering who I am, when I live in a field.

How do my surroundings, be they city or country, shape who I am becoming. How am I interacting with my surroundings in ways that change who I am in the process of becoming.

Those are curious questions to me and I am interested in exploring that much more than I am.

And, may you too find a place of rest and refreshment for your soul and body.
