Packaging fail

Packaging fail

I got this USB power adapter for my iPod Touch in the mail from Apple the other day. The little white square thing on the right is the adapter (the prongs flip out). The middle box is the Apple packaging for the adapter. And the box on the left is what it all came in. Perhaps that’s the smallest box they had. What’s weird is that the adapter box wasn’t nestled in-between air-bags or styrofoam. It was on the bottom of the box with some crumpled brown paper, which seems a rather ineffective way to protect the merchandise.

Oversized packaging aside, it shipped within a couple of hours of purchasing from the Apple store and arrived a couple of days later. I’m a happy customer (though I haven’t used the product yet).
